In WPOven all domain names are linked to their Server Configuration so changing the domain name from WordPress will have no effect .
To change the domain name , the simplest way is to go to the existing site and then visit site tools section, there use the Site clone feature.
Using the Site Clone Tool provide the new domain name / site url you wish to have and the rest will be done by Site Tools . Once the new site is online you may delete the original site if required.
